Formulas

Formulas are equations using numbers and variables to get a result. To create a formula, it must begin with an equals "=" symbol.

When creating a series of numbers, separated each number with a semicolon ";".

Functions

There are five formula functions that MiniSheet supports.

=SUM(number1;number2;…)
calculates the sum of an equation or a series of numbers.
=AVG(number1;number2;…)
calculates the average of a series of numbers.
=COUNT(value1;value2;…)
counts the number of given values.
=MIN(number1;number2;…)
determines the minimum value of a series of numbers.
=MAX(number1;number2;…)
determines the maximum value of a series of numbers.

What Is MiniSheet?

It's an Apple Dashboard widget that gives you the ability to easily store small amounts of data in a spreadsheet like user interface.

MiniSheet is also similar to spreadsheet programs in that it gives you the ability to enter formulas and calculate the results of the data you enter.

Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you’re using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
